Just a few days in! How many of you boys are participating this year? Show us what you're working with so far! Post a picture of your Mo!

  1. Well, first of all, my bedroom is all mustache themed (follow my blog to see room snippets coming soon!) and then I’m also going to do mustache nails! I’m just a tad obsessed 😉

    • I love the mustache nails idea! That is so cute!! Do you have any friends growing mustaches in support of prostate cancer awareness?

      • Thank you! I’m going to do a tutorial soon! Yes, I know a few people! Do you?

      • Unfortunately this year I don’t know too many people who have participated with the aim of raising funds but I definitely know a few people sporting mustaches to show their support and I think it is really great. Always fun to see the boys play around with different styles to see which ones they can pull off too! haha 🙂

      • There seemed to be a lot more people doing it last year than this year? :/ Yes it is, I find it so funny! 😀

      • Well from my experience I think so. Last year my uncle was diagnosed with prostate cancer so both of his sons ran campaigns in support – my uncle is doing very well right now thankfully. I have also noticed this year there has been much less media about Movember though which is a bit disappointing. Hopefully I’m just out of the loop!

      • Oh no, that’s horrible! How’s he coping? Yes exactly my point!

      • He is doing very well thank you. Cancer is such a scary thing. For something that has been around for as long as it has it still gives you the sense that you have no control and you really don’t know what will happen. Very scary. He is doing well though and everything looks good for the future, it really woke me up about the importance of having regular doctors checks especially for men.

      • Yes it is. Everyday they say that doctors are closer to finding a cure. I hope that day will come soon. It is very scary actually. Aww thats great. Yes, no one seems to bother… You never know someday we could just wake up with cancer which is a horrible but true thought, is it not?

      • It really is. I think that is one of the scariest things about cancer. This far along in our history we could have cancer and we wouldn’t even really know it. There are symptoms of course but they mimic so many diseases. It’s so scary to think that your life could change in an instant like that.

      • Yes. I think I’ll be taking a trip to the doctors soon just to check.

      • That is a great idea! I myself am due, this conversation has reminded how a simple task like going to the doctor is so important! 🙂

      • Yes it has! So many people may not even know they have cancer… And they could never get checked out! I’m booking my appointment tomorrow! Hehe 😊
